Get The Answers You Need
So that you are as informed as possible in your decision to contact me for an appointment, below are answers to some of the common questions we receive about my mobile naturopathy services. For any other questions please contact me.
What is Naturopathy?
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare that aims to identify and address the underlying causes of symptoms rather than simply managing them. It combines evidence-based nutrition, lifestyle medicine, herbal medicine, and functional testing to support optimal health and wellbeing.
How is Naturopathy different from conventional medicine?
Naturopathy focuses on prevention, education, and addressing the root causes of health concerns while working alongside conventional healthcare when appropriate.
Do I need a diagnosis before seeing a Naturopath?
No. Many people seek support for symptoms such as fatigue, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, skin conditions, or general wellbeing concerns before receiving a formal diagnosis.
Do you review blood test results?
Yes. Existing pathology results can be reviewed from a functional and holistic perspective to identify potential nutritional, hormonal, and metabolic imbalances.
Where is your clinic?
Located in Redland Bay which is a nice drive and easy to access from Brisbane, Logan, Gold Coast and surrounding suburbs.
What can I expect during my first consultation?
Your initial consultation involves a comprehensive review of your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, nutrition, stress levels, sleep, and health goals. This allows a personalised treatment plan to be developed specifically for your needs.
How do I pay for my consultation?
The clinic has an eftpos machine available for payments. If your consultation is online or via phone, there will be an invoice or payment details sent after your consultation to make payments.
Can I claim the consult through private health insurance?
Yes, you can claim initial and follow up consultation fee’s through private health insurance if you are covered for Naturopathy. The rebate amount depends on the private health company and how many consultations you have had. Check with your private health insurance company if you are covered for Naturopathy.
